A recent gathering in Madrid brought together religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.
Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
